Acrylic Hemispherical Viewports are used in many underwater applications.

Tourist / Leisure Submarines use Hemispherical Viewports to give the pilot all round vision and to allow the passengers an improved visual experience.

Stanley Plastics have manufactured many Hemispherical Viewports and the largest diameter manufactured so far is 2200mm with a wall thickness of 150mm.

Each Hemisphere is manufactured from our Transpalite SS Acrylic and our material is well known for it’s strength and visual clarity.

Third party inspections can be arranged with American Bureau of Shipping, DNV GL, RINA, Lloyds Register or Korean Register
